Improving Infrastructure
What's the issue?
Infrastructure can mean more than streets and sidewalks. It includes transportation, drainage, and internet access for all. We count on these in our day-to-day lives and District 3 deserves to have standards for our Infrastructure that equal those in every part of San Antonio.
Why is it important:
When our District 3 infrastructure is solid, business come here to grow and families come to stay. Investing in infrastructure is an investment in the local economy and in the quality of life for all our residents.
Phyllis Got It Done:
- Responsibly spent over 8 million dollars in street improvements approved in District 3, including over eight hundred thousand dollars in pedestrian mobility improvement and sidewalks.
- Prioritized the projects that include 18 million dollars to put toward maintaining our existing streets, sidewalks, drainage, school crosswalks, and traffic signals.
Looking ahead:
- Continue to negotiate on your behalf to ensure that your CPS Energy and SAWS bills remain affordable.
